Who We Are

Who We Are

Pastors Germán and Zandra Gálvez began a small Bible study in their home in the 1980s, inviting neighbors to hear God’s Word. The group quickly grew, moving through several locations until God led us to our current 900-seat church.

In the hearts of Pastors Germán and Zandra Gálvez has always been a deep passion for winning souls for Jesus Christ.

Building a Place to Serve and Shine for God

Building a Place to Serve and Shine for God

Our church is a soul-winning church for the Kingdom of God. What began as a small cell group in the home of Pastors Gálvez has now become a beautiful congregation of men, women, youth, and children who love and serve the Lord with all their hearts.

As Iglesia Bautista Camino al Cielo continues to grow, it remains committed to serving people from all walks of life—helping them draw near to God, experience true transformation, and live the abundant life found in Christ. From nearby neighborhoods to distant communities, many travel significant distances to experience the presence of God and the life-changing impact of this ministry.

To serve people from all walks of life by leading them into a growing relationship with God, where they experience transformation through Jesus Christ and live the abundant life He promises.

Our Beliefs

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His redemptive death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and His imminent return for His church.

It is the inspired and infallible Word of God.

We believe in the one true God manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Church is made up of those who truly believe in Christ Jesus and His redemptive death, and who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior.

Only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose guidance Christians can live lives pleasing to God.

We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12 are available to the Body of Christ today.

We believe in the ordinance of water baptism (by immersion) in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We also believe in the administration of the elements of bread and wine, which represent the Body of Christ.

We believe in the resurrection of both: the saved, to eternal life, and the lost, to eternal damnation.
